Xero Tip Of The Month February 2017 - Customise The Dashboard In Xero

Tailoring the Xero Dashboard can provide you with a powerful snapshot of where your business stands in real time – money in the bank, money coming in, and money going out.

It also allows you to keep a watchful eye on those accounts that may need monitoring providing you with multiple levels of control. For example identifying where costs can be better managed to increase profitability.

This snapshot of your organisation’s financial position is based on transactions entered into Xero. In the Dashboard you can directly drill down into a transaction, or do common tasks quickly like a bank reconciliation or adding sales invoices or bills.

Accounts Watchlist

If you would like to keep an eye on the balance of key accounts in your chart of accounts (excluding bank accounts, these may be included separately), you can display them on the Account Watchlist. You can choose which accounts to display by specifying this on the account in the chart of accounts.
