Cornish Accounting Solutions win a hat-trick of online awards

Cornish Accounting solutions are delighted to announce that over the past fortnight, we have scooped two separate online awards for our work.

The first is Smart Social – a scheme that recognises ‘high quality and innovative’ use of social media.  This award came to us the very first time we entered!  For us, social media is not just another shop front (although that is a very useful element), but a way of engaging with and informing our clients, colleagues and friends.  We aim for a mix of useful business content, new blog posts, and a little humour and local interest thrown in for good measure, and we’re delighted that this approach has been given the thumbs-up!

For our second award, Paul Miller has been named ‘The King of Pioneering Accounting’, by the Royal Connection group.   The ‘King of’ accolades, along with the parallel ‘Queen of’ awards, offers recognition to business individuals who have made an exceptional impact in their industry.  Paul launched Cornish Accounting Solutions in 1994 in order to create an accounting service that made the most of developing technology, so we’re over the moon that this pioneering spirit has received the attention it deserves.

These two awards are the perfect complement to our ‘Small Business Sunday’ win of last year.  Small Business Sunday is a scheme run by former BBC Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis that awards successful small businesses who go above and beyond to support their clients.

Cornish Accounting Solutions have now won this mighty hat-trick of online awards, and of course we are already Gold Partners in the powerful Xero cloud accounting system.  But for us, these awards are only important for what they represent.  Getting a badge or trophy is all well and good, but what matters to us is getting it right for the clients and adding value to their business.  The honours we receive are just one of the ways that we know we’re on the right tracks, along with the all important feedback from those we work with.  Of course, we couldn’t do what we do without the support of our friends, followers, clients and colleagues, so a sincere thanks to you all.

In the meantime, if you know of someone who could use a multi-award-winning, pioneering accounting firm – get in touch!
